UFC star’s car impounded over no tax/insurance

- BY WILLIAM DUNNE

A VEHICLE owned by Conor Mcgregor was seized in Dublin yesterday morning, the Irish Mirror can reveal.

The UFC star’s black Cadillac Escalade was one of three vehicles involved in the operation on Hatch Street in the city centre.

It’s understood they all failed to display tax, insurance or both.

A source said: “This isn’t the first time he has been warned to sort out documents for that car.

“He was partying with some of his pals in a nearby location while the vehicle was being guarded.

“A tow truck took the vehicles to an impound west of Dublin’s city centre.”

Another source added The Notorious was not arrested or detained after the incident.

It’s believed Mcgregor was cautioned as the owner of the vehicle to have his documentation in order.

A black Range Rover and a Mercedes Benz jeep were the other two cars that were towed away.

Conor is due back in Kings

County Supreme Criminal Court in Brooklyn, New York, on July 26 over his involvement in an attack on a bus carrying fellow UFC fighters in April.
