IT company set to create 200 new jobs

A SOFTWARE company is to hire 200 staff over a four-year period.

Belfast-based Neueda Technologi­es plan on establishi­ng a hub in Athlone, Co Westmeath.

The firm has already hired more than 70 staff at the site and hope to add 10 more by December.

Software developers, cloud engineers and agile practition­ers are among the roles being created.

Enterprise Minister Heather Humphreys said the jobs are a welcome boost for the Midlands.

She added: “It is also a great vote of confidence in what the region has to offer and a testament to the talent of existing staff.”
