RCGP calls for campaign to tackle loneliness

Loneliness is a public health epidemic, and a national campaign is needed to raise awareness, says the Royal College of General Practitioners. It says that people need to be encouraged to talk to neighbours and be involved in their communities, and calls for all GPS to have access to a funded “social prescriber”.
