JIMNY GETS A FACELIFT

You’re looking at the new generation Suzuki Jimny.

Amazingly, the Jimny has been in production since 1970 under several different names.

The latest version is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine and still features a separate ladder frame chassis, just like the original, and live axles. Transmission is via a part-time 4x4 system featuring a low-range transfer gear.

There’s no word on price yet but expect it to be good value. I’m looking forward to driving one, especially off road.
