CBB blasted for ‘insulting’ wall building

- BY KIM CARR BY Showbiz Editor (Features) jessica.boulton@mirror.co.uk

The task CELEBRITY Big Brother has been blasted for asking housemates to build a wall like the proposed one between America and Mexico.

They were ordered to construct the wall – with the US flag – by the house “president” Kirstie Alley – leaving US reality star Natalie Nunn outraged.

She initially refused to take part, shouting, “f*** you Trump”.

Yesterday Ra’ed Khan, of refugee charity Road To Freedom, said to turn “suffering into a task for a reality TV show game is frankly insulting”.

Ofcom received more than 1,000 complaints after Rodrigo Alves twice used the n-word on Friday’s show and another 16 following the wall task. Rodrigo has aplogised. STORMY Daniels has accused President Trump of being “in over his head” in the White House, and says she fears for her life after speaking about their alleged affair.

The porn star revealed she had to hire bodyguards after going public with her claims she slept with Donald Trump and that later his then lawyer Michael Cohen had given her $130,000, around £102,000, “hush money” to buy her silence.

Asked if she felt safer in the limelight, 39-year-old Stormy – real name Stephanie Clifford – said: “Oh, for sure. Hiding in plain sight. Oh, absolutely.”

Speaking about Trump on ITV’S Loose Women, days after she pulled out of Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother at the 11th hour, Stormy, said: “I think that he is a man that’s gotten in over his head.”

Asked if she voted for him, she replied, emphatically: “No.”

Stormy said she feared for her safety and that of her seven-year-old daughter.

She said: “Some days I can slip out and go about my day and I almost feel normal for a minute and then I look around and I’ve got two big bodyguards behind me and I’m like, ‘Oh, they’re still here’. Another day, I get crazy hate mail and death threats.”

She claims she slept with Trump at a golf event in 2006, months after his wife Melania gave birth to their son Barron.

Stormy is now embroiled in multiple lawsuits with Trump and there is a criminal investigation into claims the alleged “hush money” came illegally from his 2016 presidential campaign fund. Trump has denied the allegations.

Stormy said she spoke out about the alleged fling because the story had already been leaked and she wanted her daughter to all hear it from her. On the show, she said: “That’s my biggest fear, that her life is going to be changed for ever in a negative way. Which was one of the reasons I decided to come forward. I wanted to be someone she could be proud of. “I felt like owning it and standing up and saying, ‘I’m not ashamed, this is what happened, I will not be bullied’.” The Trump lawsuits and the custody battle with her estranged husband over her daughter made Stormy pull out of CBB, five hours before the launch show on Thursday. She claims she offered to go into the house on the second day to apologise for pulling out, but CBB bosses then threatened to have her deported.

She said: “They came back a couple of hours later and said, ‘You’re either going to go on and stay in the house, follow the contract to a T or we’re deporting you in the morning at 6am’.”

Stormy snuck out of her Elstree hotel in disguise to avoid being sent back to the US. She said: “There was no way I was going to get on a plane and wake up to the headline, ‘Stormy Daniels gets deported from England’.”

CBB’S Bit on the Side host Rylan Clark said Stormy had told them “she wished to simply appear on launch night and then leave”.

He said: “Launch night is about housemates moving in to the house, not about celebrities pulling out.” Asked on Loose Women what she hoped for in the future, Stormy said: “That it becomes known that I am not a liar. That some day my daughter looks up to me and says, ‘I’m so proud of how brave you were’.”
