Poor Rodney – he’s been left broken-hearted after learning that his girlfriend Misty has headed off to Thailand without him.
Although he’s soon feeling furious rather than sad when – after he does some digging to uncover the truth – Bernice finally comes clean admitting it’s all down to his daughter’s meddling that his love has left on a jet plane.
But just as he’s about to get really angry, he collapses in agony, and a panicked Nicola calls for an ambulance.
CORONATION STREET
TV3, 7.30pm
Gemma might not have the fancy upbringing and posh vowels that Henry has, but she’s far more noble and honourable than he’ll ever be. He’s talking about sueing Johnny and Jenny for an accident in the workplace, then Gemma hears that Rita caught him going through her drawers.
He eventually confesses, saying he’s being threatened to the tune of £20k to pay for his aborted wedding. Will she go along with it?

Phil’s so busy trying to be a strict disciplinarian dad to that rotter Denny, he’s missing what’s going on under his nose. Namely, his missus Sharon making eyes at his hunky young mechanic Keanu. He’s already impressed her by being both strong and silent, but soft and sensitive too.
And the more furious Phil gets about covering up Denny’s gang activity, the more he’s inadvertently pushing them together.
