Jonathan Johnston DELAYING breakfast by 90 minutes and eating dinner earlier helps people lose weight, a study shows.

Researchers found those who changed their mealtimes lost more than twice as much body fat as those who ate as normal.

Participants could only eat in a certain time window, but could eat as much of whatever they wanted during that time.

They delayed breakfast by an hour and a half, and ate their evening meal an hour and a half earlier.

This gave the body a long period of “intermittent fasting” overnight.

Dr Jonathan Johnston, of Surrey University, Guildford, said the study showed “slight alterations to our meal times can have benefits to our bodies”. CHLOE Ayling has urged footballer Jermaine Pennant’s wife to dump him, saying “he’s no gentleman”.

The model called Pennant “disgusting” for kissing and flirting with her in the Celebrity Big Brother house, claiming she had no idea he was married.

Now, after being evicted and learning the truth, Chloe, 20, has slammed the former Liverpool star – and is encouraging Alice, 32, to leave him for good.

She said: “It is a massive shock to me to find out he is married. I just don’t understand why he did what he did when he has a wife at home.

“I don’t think he is mature enough to realise what he has done. Hopefully his wife can see she should not be with him if he is going to do that on TV.” Pennant, 35, who now plays for Billericay Town, shared pecks on the lips and cuddles with Chloe on the Channel 5 show, before kissing her thigh during a game.

After Chloe was evicted on Tuesday, Pennant pulled her into the toilet, where there are no cameras. Microphones heard him begging her to tell people their flirting was just “banter”. Chloe replied: “Yeah but the thing is, they have already seen that it’s not just banter.”

He’s then heard saying: “You have to start f***ing tell no one what’s happened.”

Speaking to the Mirror after leaving the house, Chloe said she was particularly upset as it was the first time since her infamous six-day Italian kidnap ordeal that she had felt ready for a relationship again.

“I have not encountered this kind of thing before,” she said. “This is not what I wanted on my first try of trying to get back into a personal life. He has not behaved like a gentleman. Not at all.” She added: “The last conversation we had in the bathroom was him saying, ‘We will talk properly when we come out’. I am not a person who dates a married man, obviously not.”

Glamour model Alice is yet to comment on her husband’s behaviour. The pair married in 2014 and live in a large home in the Shropshire countryside. Jermaine had a reputation for being a womaniser and openly bragged about threesomes in his autobiography, serialised in the Mirror last month.

London-born Chloe was kidnapped on a fake modelling assignment in Milan in July last year. She has said she was drugged with ketamine, bundled into a car boot and held in Turin for six days.

Lukasz Herba, 30, was jailed in June for 16 years and nine months over the case. His brother Michal Herba, 37, is awaiting trial, but claims he was set up.
