No need to panic Poch

-

JUST because Tottenham have lost their last two matches doesn’t mean they have become a bad side overnight.

Maybe there’s just a little lack of freshness in the squad and in training because Spurs have been such a settled team for three or four years.

Or perhaps there’s a little lack of form with certain players suffering a World Cup hangover (England’s Harry Kane, above).

Whatever it is, tonight’s game against Inter Milan is a good chance for them to snap back with a win or a confidence-boosting draw.

This isn’t the Inter of old and I’d be disappointed if Spurs didn’t take four points off them in the Champions League group stage.

Tottenham aren’t playing fantastic flowing football, but what Mauricio Pochettino’s side does have is a system in which each player looks round the team and knows what job they and their team-mates are doing.

I imagine they will look in January for bargains, just to give the team a little kick, and I still expect them to do well this time out.

IF Wolves don’t get in the top eight this season it will only be because they have dropped off significantly as a team, and as individuals, rather than not having the ability in the first place.

They have everything in their armoury to be able to win 85 to 90 per cent of home games and nick enough points on away days to firmly be in the top half of the table.
