Koh had two knives MALE model George Koh, who stabbed rival Harry Uzoka to death, has been jailed for at least 25 years.

Accomplice Merse Dikanda, 24, also got life with a minimum 22 years and Jonathan Okigbo, also 24, was given 14 years.

Sentencing them at the Old Bailey yesterday, Judge Wendy Joseph QC said Koh’s behaviour to Harry “swung between excessive admiration and spite”.

Koh, 24, said he had sex with Harry’s girlfriend and arranged to meet, taking the other men and two knives with him.

Harry, 25, was stabbed in the heart in Shepherd’s Bush, West London.

Koh and Dikanda, both of Camden, North London, were found guilty of murder in August.

YESTERDAY

Rescuers look for bodies THE captain of a ferry which sank has been arrested as the death toll from the disaster climbed above 130.

Tanzania’s president John Magufuli announced four days of national mourning and ordered the arrests of all those responsible as a criminal investigation began.

Pope Francis, the United Nations secretary-general, Russian president Vladimir Putin and a number of African leaders expressed shock.

The Vatican said: “His Holiness Pope Francis expresses his heartfelt solidarity with those who mourn the loss of their loved ones and who fear for the lives of those still missing.”

Authorities said the ferry was badly overcrowded and capsized on Lake Victoria shortly before reaching land.

At least 40 people were rescued but scores of bodies have been recovered.

In a televised address, the president said the ferry captain had been detained after leaving the steering to someone who was not properly trained.

The Government’s chief secretary John Kijazi said the MV Nyerere’s capacity was 101 people but the boat had been overloaded when it capsized on Thursday afternoon.

Passengers were returning from a busy market day.

Tanzania Red Cross spokeswoman Godfrida Jola added more than 200 people are feared dead based on accounts from fishermen and other witnesses.

The president said it was obvious more bodies were trapped in the overturned ferry with even the cargo far exceeding the 25 tons allowed.

Images from the scene showed bodies lined up on plastic sheeting.

The MV Nyerere, named after the former president who led the East African nation to independence, was travelling between the islands of Ukara and Ukerewe when it sank.
