Trotters’ Erhun Oztumer will push Josh Vela for a start. Jack Hobbs (cut) could be a doubt, while Sammy Ameobi (ankle) is out. United are set to be unchanged as boss Marcelo Bielsa has no new injury concerns. All his injured players remain out, including Kemar Roofe (calf).

Blues boss Garry Monk hopes to have both Maikel Kieftenbeld and Craig Gardner back in contention.

Boro boss Tony Pulis will assess his troops after Dael Fry, Britt Assombalonga and Mo Besic were rested for the win over Bolton.
