Is Glastonbury set for a Wonderbrawl?

THEY are brothers at war but Noel and Liam Gallagher are set to perform on the same bill at Glastonbury next year.

Rocker Noel told me he would “love” to play at Michael Eavis’ mudfest in 2019 – while Liam has already confirmed his attendance at the five-day music extravaganza.

Noel, whose band High Flying Birds got a nod at the Mercury Music Prize Awards, explains: “I would absolutely love to play Glastonbury next year. I love that festival but I’ll probably be fourth on the bill.”

The Gallagher brothers’ feud reached boiling point in February when Liam insulted Noel’s wife Sara calling her a “witch” before comparing them to serial killers Fred and Rose West.

Oasis split in 2009 after a row which began with Liam throwing a plum at his brother. Last year, Noel slated Liam’s solo record saying it sounds “like Adele shouting into a bucket”.

And lately tensions between the two stars have still been simmering.

Noel, 51, refused to comment about Liam’s latest dramas which included a drunken bust-up with girlfriend

Debbie Gwyther where he appeared to grab her throat. At the time Liam said: “I have never put my hands on any woman in a vicious manner” while Debbie said they were “drunkenly messing around”.

Liam turned 46 yesterday and Debbie, 36, posted a snap of her and Liam with the caption: “Happy birthday to my partner in crime. The gift that keeps on giving.” One person Noel did have a lot of time for at the glitzy awards ceremony was Lily Allen, 33, who recently said she got intimate with Liam when he was married to Nicole Appleton, 43.

With Noel’s arm draped around her, Lily fawned: “You are going to win tonight. I really want you to.”

But after watching the performances, including Lily’s, Noel said he “didn’t like” any of the acts, including eventual winner Wolf Alice. Ouch.

Maybe, Noel, it’s time to not be so grumpy and get Oasis back together. Definitely Maybe?
