Wife of victim hit by a scrambler in the park fears she’ll lose home

Anzhela’s plea for help as she prays for ‘miracle to save husband’

-

SO IN LOVE Anzhela & Ilabek Anzhela and her mum Hasmik Anzhela had only moved to Dublin little more than a month before tragedy struck. As well as her husband’s devastating injuries, she suffered a broken pelvis.

Ilabek had worked as a roofer and was the sole breadwinner in the family.

Now his wife is facing joining more than 10,000 people who are homeless in Ireland as the accom- modation where she is currently staying in North Dublin is not stable.

Anzhela is in the process of appealing for help from the city council to find a home and she is applying to the Department of Social Protection for income support.

A Dublin City Council spokeswoman said: “We have numerous services and options available for anyone at risk of becoming homeless.

DUBLIN YESTERDAY

If Ms Kotsinian could ring, one of our staff will discuss her options with her.”

Gardai said a juvenile male was arrested on August 8 over the incident and later released. A file is expected to be prepared for the DPP.
