Tragic Bee Gee Robin’s music is stayin’ alive..
Chanel goes down a sandstorm in Paris Widow to release new tracks written by late singer
ROBIN Gibb’s widow has revealed she has a stash of new Bee Gees songs that may be released – six years after the singer’s death.
Dwina said their son RJ was in charge of pulling together the tracks which dated from a “long time ago” and was aiming to involve Barry.
She added: “I am still finding music. I have loads of stuff.
“Robin might have put something on a recorder somewhere and suddenly I am finding new music. I play it to my son and he is putting it all together.
“It should be interesting to hear some new music one day. Barry would have to be involved.” Dwina also said there was a new biopic of the band in the works.
She added: “Our film is in the bag at the moment. We are in discussions.
“I don’t know who would like to play
Robin. We have to get agreements from the three
Ifamilies like from Barry, Yvonne [Maurice’s widow] and myself.”
Dwina told how Barry was still suffering after the deaths of his two siblings.
She said: “It has been very hard for him losing his brothers and his mother not so long ago.
“It is a big thing. I think he keeps to himself more or less. He will be OK.”
Robin, who had a lengthy battle with cancer, passed away in 2012, aged 62.
Maurice died from complications following an operation to correct an intestinal blockage in 2003.
The Bee Gees sold more than 220 million
records worldwide.
