the safe and spoilt hands grandparents.

She said: “My parents stepped in and moved in to my house and to know they are there with the kids gives you that piece of mind, you know they are being well looked after – spoiled rotten – but you know it’s nice to go away knowing that’s going on in the background.”

Anna and her co-star Simon Delaney, who are both parents to all boys, were called out on social media at the weekend for appearing “broody”when Xpose presenter Karen Koster paid a visit to the show of their with her two sons and her new baby girl Eve.

The Virgin Media presenter explained: “Well listen, we have seven boys between the two of us so Karen brings in a newborn baby girl and we were of course cooing and gaaing all over her and her cute features because that’s what I was saying.

“You get used to looking at baby boys or boys in general and then Karen brings in this little girl and of course you are fighting over her because she is just so beautiful so it was lovely.”

However, between her hosting duties at the

weekend, being a full-time mammy – to three kids under the age of 10 – and launching a new site earlier this year, Anna said she is definitely not tempted to go for baby number four.

She joked: “I’m very much done. I appreciate that I did say that after two children as well, but you can take my word for it. I’m done.”

Speaking at the launch of the Trick or Treat for Temple Street campaign, Anna admitted being a mother made the event and the cause even more special for her.

She said: “I’m in Temple Street and we’ve had a fun morning doing Trick or Treat with the most adorable kids.

“I’m a bit obsessed with it because, now my kids aren’t here today but the kids that are part of the photocall are all around my kids age, bar the baby and they are just that perfect age you know three, four, five, six-year-olds.”

The annual campaign for the hospital is calling on the public to host Halloween parties to raise vital funds for sick children.

Anna said she is excited to use the opportunity to create memories with her kids but also help them understand the plight of others.

She added: “I loved Halloween when I was younger and would have been out trick-or-treating and embracing it and even just the novelty to be able to go out in the dark and having fun with all your pals. So yeah reliving that with my own kids and trying to get in the spirit of things but also throwing a party like this reminds children who are very privileged, because all of our children are very privileged now, there is a reason why we have to give back and help children in hospital and show them here is why they need money for machinery and life-saving equipment.

“I know you don’t want to completely bamboozle them with negative stories but you do want to kind of open them to the world that you know it’s not as easy as it may look sometimes for everyone.”
