Irish star, 36, to become dad again
Toyota Prius PHV TOYOTA is recalling millions of hybrid cars worldwide over fears they could suddenly lose power including 1,300 in Ireland.
The measure affects Prius, Prius+ and Auris models built between October 2008 and November 2014.
In total more than 2.4 million cars have been recalled around the world – with 1,289 in Ireland.
The car giant said in “rare situations”, some vehicles could fail to switch to a “failsafe” driving mode.
Toyota Ireland chief Steve Tormey added: “We are dedicated to taking swift and appropriate action where necessary and seek to be completely transparent with our customers.” FIFTY Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan is expanding his family by becoming a dad again.
A source close to the Irish actor confirmed his wife Amelia Warner is pregnant with the couple’s third child. The pair, both 36, are already parents to daughters Dulcie, five, and two-year-old Elva. The private couple, who got married in 2013, have managed to keep Warner’s pregnancies out of the public eye. But the rumour mill went into overdrive in August when the mum was snapped with a baby bump in Italy. A source said: “Jamie and Amelia have another baby on the way.” Meanwhile, The Fall actor has broken his silence on being tipped as the next James Bond.
Irish star Aidan Turner, Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston are also among the stars in the running to take over the iconic role when Daniel Craig steps down. But Dornan said he “doesn’t think” about playing 007 as “you cannot really plan anything in this industry”.
Speaking at the premiere of his new film My Dinner With Herve in LA, he added: “I never have goals in it, I never have parts that I would want to chase, just see what happens. But it’s cool to be in those conversations.”
Dornan stars alongside Game Of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage in the movie which examines the life of Herve Villechaize, known for playing a Bond villain in 1974’s The Man With The Golden Gun.
The Co Down actor has been busy as he will also appear in A Private War and a Robin Hood reboot before the end of the year.
But the Hollywood star recently said his favourite role is being a dad.
He added: “When I’m at home all I am is a husband and father and that is all encompassing. It’s the role I take most seriously in life.”
