late late host, 45, denies relationship rumours
CHAT host Ryan Tubridy has dismissed rumours he has found love with a mystery woman.
The 45-year-old sparked speculation he was dating again when he was seen with a woman earlier this year.
However, The Late Late Show presenter confirmed he is still one of Ireland’s most eligible bachelors. The dad of two denied having anyone “special” in his love life right now, adding: “I’m pretty good at keeping myself to myself.” Tubridy is RTE’S highest earner, taking home €495,000 in 2015, and has been solo since his high profile five-year relationship to former Rose of Tralee Aoibhinn Ni Shuilleabhain ended in 2014.
Speaking ahead of his live Late Late special in London tomorrow he said the show is going to be “big, big, big”.
And with a live audience of 1,200 expected, 1,000 more than his average, Tubs admitted he is anxious.
He said: “People don’t believe me when I say I get nervous but I do. I think part of it is if you’re not nervous you are doing something wrong.
“You have to have that bit of edge to get into the show and once the show starts the nerves calm down.
“But because of the bigness of this and because we’ve moved cities there are great expectations for this and I will be nervous but that is part of the human condition.”
The host clarified the show will not be about Brexit despite it being the reason they chose the location of London.
He also revealed some of the famous faces joining him include Mick Mccarthy, Barry Mcguigan, and a supergroup of the Chieftains’ Paddy Moloney, the Dubliners’ John Sheehan and Andrea and Caroline Corr.
