2 DUNDALK broke their own league points record tally from 2015 as they picked up another three points with a 2-1 win at Waterford.

Second half goals from Patrick Hoban, his 27th of the season, and Ronan Murray (above) secured a comfortabl­e win despite Dessie Hutchinson’s late consolatio­n.

Hoban went close with a powerful drive from inside the area but Waterford striker Izzy Akinade got back on the line to make a goal-saving block.

Cork, who handed a home league debut to U19 skipper Ronan Hurley, play Derry away next weekend and finish up with a home tie against Bray Wanderers.
