Former pals of Putin are wary of toxic atmosphere

Irish Daily Mirror - - STATESIDE -

Following the failed murder bid on Sergei Skripal in Salisbury, it looks like the Russian state may have been forced to stop poisoning people who hold too much information.

After the bungled mission to silence the spy, it appears those that may pose a threat to national security now conveniently die in helicopter crashes.

Take Russian Deputy Attorney General Saak Karapetyan – a former ally of Vladimir Putin.

ACCUSED

He’s accused of directing lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya to hold the Trump Tower meeting with the President’s cronies.

Don Trump Jr (the other being his brother Eric Trump), lackey Jared Kushner and convicted con Paul Manafort were there.

When it was finally made public it was billed as a discussion about the adoption of Russian children.

In reality, they were told the Russian attorney had a bag full of dirt on rival Hillary Clinton.

Now Karapetyan has been mysteriously killed in a Russian helicopter crash.

Maybe the weight of his secrets took the chopper down or more likely it was the bullets found in the body that made it crash.

Before his death this week, Karapetyan had been in charge of the Russian criminal investigations into the poisoning Skripal and his daughter Yulia in March.

Given Russia’s pathetic response to the Salisbury poisoning that two of their death team were in fact on a UK tourist trip, I’m waiting for Russian officials to say Karapetyan’s pilot flew into the bullets.

KILLED Saak Karapetyan
