PERFECT 10

Ozil back to his brilliant best as he and an Auba double help resurgent Gunners stretch their amazing winning streak

- BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA

ARSENAL turned on the style to make it a perfect 10 – after an incredible penalty escape.

Mesut Ozil and Pierre-emerick Aubameyang inspired the Gunners to a thrilling fightback which took their winning run into double figures.

But that came only after referee Chris

Kavanagh failed to spot a clear handball in the box by Rob Holding as he challenged Leicester’s Wilfred Ndidi.

Holding had already been booked and could easily have picked up a second yellow.

By the end it hardly mattered. Arsenal responded in sensational fashion to going behind, with sub Aubameyang scoring twice.

Leicester took a fullydeserved lead in the 31st minute when Hector Bellerin turned Ben Chilwell’s cross into his own net.

But it was the Spaniard’s cross which Ozil met with a classy sidefooted finish to equalise on the stroke of half-time.

Ozil then produced one of the passes of the season to release Bellerin to tee up Aubameyang for his first goal two minutes after coming on.

The striker made it 3-1 three minutes later for one of the goals of the season.

At the end of it Ozil dummied Bellerin’s pass to Alexandre Lacazette, he played the ball back to the German who continued his run and his clipped pass was tapped in by Aubameyang.
