Irish top in EU for generosity

IRELAND has been revealed as Europe’s most generous country in a report released yesterday.

The index, which ranks 146 countries, put our nation in fifth place worldwide, but the most generous in Europe.

In addition, 64% of people reported donating money in the month before they were polled.
