Special event to shed some Light on zoo

AN award-winning nighttime event is set to open this week at Dublin Zoo.

The theme for this year’s Wild Lights show is Ocean of Light which will see an entirely new cast of illuminated silk lanterns.

It is inspired by the wonder of aquatic life and guests are invited to spot hammerhead sharks, colossal blue whales, dainty seahorses among other magnificent animals.

It will run from this Thursday until January 6 from 5pm to 9pm.

Wild Lights will be open from Thursday to Sunday evenings in November but will extend to seven nights a week in December and early January.
