contributed quite the anecdote at this week’s Standard Issue talks event, while discussing the intense filming schedule on Emmerdale.

With 16 scenes in one day requiring Mandy Dingle behind the bar, Lisa had little time for a loo break.

“I had to go,” she insists. “I was running.”

Poor Lisa was in such a rush, she hoisted up her tights, inadvertently bringing with them a trail of used toilet roll.

“I will never get over that moment,” she admits, still mortified. “It was so horrible. There was no ground that could have opened wide enough.”
