CHELSEA coach Marco Ianni has been fined

£6,000 by the FA for sparking a bust-up with Jose Mourinho in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United.

Maurizio Sarri’s assistant coach admitted to an improper conduct charge after his celebrations of Ross Barkley’s equaliser in front of Mourinho caused a touchline flare-up.

Sarri said Chelsea would consider whether any internal punishment was necessary once the FA delivered its verdict.

“He said sorry immediately, and it was really very important I think that he realised he was wrong,” Sarri said.
