Arson thugs target third Quinn boss

ARSONISTS have attacked a third Quinn Industrial Holdings manager in the latest spate of attacks.

A car was torched at Tony Lunney’s home in Co Cavan at around 11.20pm on Tuesday.

It follows an attack on the home of finance chief Dara O’reilly last month and in August a tyre factory owned by a QIH boss was targeted.

Chief executive Liam Mccaffrey hit out at the threats and intimidation.

He said: “It is grossly unacceptable criminals who threaten the lives and wellbeing of staff on both sides of the border continue to operate with impunity.”
