THE ZAPP’S HALL RIGHT
Electric scooters and small motorcycles make a lot of sense to me, more so at the moment than electric cars. This new British built Zapp scooter could, at a pinch, be recharged in my hallway subject to Mrs Goodwin’s approval. Well, perhaps not. The new Zapp i300 is powered by a pair of lithium ion batteries hooked up to a 14kw electric motor. There’s no need to drag the Zapp into the house because the battery pack can be disconnected for charging. Range is around 35 miles, and charging from a domestic socket takes three hours. The bike isn’t cheap but it certainly looks cool. Order yours now from zappscooter.com.
