- BY MARK JEFFERIES Showbiz Editor mark.jefferies@mirror.co.uk

ANT Mcpartlin hopes he and Lisa Armstrong will finalise their divorce within a few weeks so everyone can “move on”.

It is thought the TV presenter is paying all her legal bills as well as for her recent holiday to Los Angeles.

Ant and his wife of 12 years were granted a decree nisi in October.

If they can agree on a financial settlement and custody of their dog Hurley, then it could be over by Christmas.

Lisa is expected to get around €30million, or half of everything he has earned during their marriage. Those close to the star say a settlement is in sight. A source said: “Ant is paying for all of Lisa’s legal fees. He is still helping her financially with other expenses, like when she went on holiday to LA.

“It is amicable and things are moving forward. Ant wants it done as quickly and fairly as possible, so they can move on with their lives.”

The source added the hope was to settle in “weeks rather than months”. Ant is now in a relationship Annemarie Corbett, who used to be the couple’s personal assistant.

He is due back to work filming Britain’s Got Talent in January after tackling his addiction problems.
