Tesco staff’s €100k treat for hospital

TESCO workers raised a spooktacular €100,000 for vital hospital equipment after a Halloween-themed charity drive.

The retailer’s Trick Or Treat For Temple Street initiative saw staff dress up and host parties over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

A total of €102,000 will go towards the purchase of a new ultrasound machine to aid the removal of brain tumours.

Tesco said: “It really shows what can be achieved when people pull together for a great cause.”
