Dyche won’t be a vintage Claret

- BY MIKE WHALLEY

SEAN DYCHE insists there is no way he will still be a manager at 65 like Manuel Pellegrini – as clubs will change bosses every season by then.

Dyche, 47, celebrated six years in charge of Burnley on Tuesday and takes the Clarets to Pellegrini’s West Ham tomorrow.

He said: “I won’t be in management at 65. What was the famous quote from Sir Steve Redgrave? If I am, you can shoot me. I don’t think it’ll be that kind of game in the future for management. It will be a one-season mentality, possibly.”
