RIO Ferdinand is on top of the world as he gets engaged to partner Kate Wright in Abu Dhabi.
The former Man United player, 39, proposed to the 27-year-old reality TV star on the helipad of the
St Regis Hotel in Nation Towers as his children Lorenz, 12, Tate, 10, and seven-year-old Tia looked on.
Revealing the news, he said:
“She said yes. How these kids kept it a secret I’ll never know.”
Rio’s joy comes after he lost wife of six years Rebecca to breast cancer in 2015, aged 34.
