Moscow now as new Dublin flights launch
Aeroflot RUSSIAN airline Aeroflot has launched a new direct route from Dublin to Moscow.
The four-hour flight will operate daily, leaving the Irish capital at 9.45pm and touching down at 5am.
Return trips will leave Moscow at 7.20pm and, due to the three-hour time difference, it will arrive here at 8.45pm.
The carrier has not operated the route since 2003.
Dublin Airport chief Vincent Harrison said: 42,000 passengers travelled between the cities last year on indirect flights.
He added: “I have no doubt this new direct route will be very popular in both directions.
“The new service will further boost trade and tourism.”
