JOE’S JUST THE START

GRAHAM POTTER is confident more of Swansea’s next generation will commit their futures to the club.

Defender Joe Rodon (left) was the first to sign a new contract, while the club continues to work on deals for Connor Roberts, Daniel James and Jay Fulton.

And Potter, whose side travel to Rotherham today, believes his starlets will follow Rodon’s lead as they attempt to get back in the Premier League at the first time of asking.

“Joe is a part of the present, but also the future,” said boss Potter.

“We’re delighted with the first step and I’m sure we’ll make more. Discussions are ongoing with four or five players.”
