MARWAN STRINGS IF HE WINS IN OZ

MAGIC CIRCLE can trigger Full Monty-style scenes at Flemington with a victory in the Lexus Melbourne Cup (4.00) early tomorrow morning.

Owner Dr Marwan Koukash has pledged to receive the trophy in a g-string if his horse lands ‘the race that stops a nation’.

Now the time has come Koukash may have to keep his word.

With wins in the Chester Cup and Henry II Stakes at Sandown in May, Magic Circle has an attractive profile - with the promise of more to come.

“We’ve got a huge chance. It’s a once-in-alifetime chance. Everything has gone spot on with him,” said trainer Ian Williams.
