INCREDIBLE RAHEEM

PEP GUARDIOLA hailed “incredible” Raheem Sterling after his man-ofthe-match display as Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League.

Sterling scored twice and made three other goals as Guardiola’s champions hit Southampton for six.

Sergio Aguero reached 150 Premier League goals, but Sterling stole the show.

“Raheem is in incredible form,” said City’s boss. “He’s sharp, fast, clever, always fighting, decisive, he can play both sides, can play in the middle and receive the ball between the lines.”

Asked what had made Sterling more clinical, Guardiola added: “The first season he was scared, he was looking, ‘Who is the guy I’m going to pass to?’ He wasn’t looking, even when it was only the keeper there.”
