TRAGEDY GOT TO US TOO SAYS NEIL

-

NEIL WARNOCK admitted Cardiff were affected by the death of Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha after they went down at home to the Foxes.

Cardiff lost 1-0 to a Leicester side whose late chairman Srivaddhanaprabha was honoured at the game.

And Bluebirds boss Warnock (above) said: “It’s been a strange week, surreal really, and I’m glad it’s out of the way if I’m honest.

“I thought the fans were amazing in the circumstances, the respect they showed and the way they were together.

“It was quite emotional out there.

“The players gave everything but it’s been difficult this week, for three or four lads in particular. Whether it has triggered things up I don’t know.

“But training has not been the same and we had to have a word with them that we’ve got to play the game.”
