24% go vegan for our climate

JUST 24% of people said they would go vegan to combat climate change, a survey revealed last night.

More than 1,000 adults were quizzed for RTE’S Claire Byrne Live.

And 62% said they would be unwilling to ditch meat and dairy to help the environment.

Pollsters also 38% of those asked said Irish elected representatives should wear a remembrance poppy, while 42% said they should not, while 20% didn’t know.
