Take a flight to see Santa and his elves
Santa THE sixth Santa Flights adventure was launched yesterday by Shannon Airport.
The initiative will see more than 2,000 children and parents take to the skies with Santa and his elves on December 1 and 2.
Tickets will be allocated through a lottery system which runs from today for a week.
Families can enter by paying a €1 per seat lottery application fee and a flat €1.50 booking fee.
All profits raised go to Shannon Group’s designated 2018 charities, the Share A Dream Foundation and Clare Crusaders.
Airport chief Andrew Murphy said: “It is great to spread a bit of Christmas cheer and put smiles on so many children’s faces.”
