Singer reveals hope for future after his ‘boozy fling’
UNA Healy has revealed she wants to stay friends with her estranged hubby after he faced cheating claims.
The Saturdays singer, a mum of two, split from rugby star Ben Foden, left, in July.
She said: “He’s the father of my childen and he’s in my life for ever, so hopefully one day we can be friends.”
SATURDAYS star Una Healy has revealed she hopes to be friends with her estranged husband for the sake of their two young children.
She split from rugby player Ben Foden after six years of marriage in July amid claims he had a fling after a boozy night out.
At the time, 37-year-old Una admitted her “life had been turned upside down” and she felt “lost” without the father of her kids.
But now she has said she wants an amicable relationship with Foden for the sake of Aoife Belle, six, and threeyear-old Tadhg.
Speaking to Closer at the Pride of Britain Awards, the newlyblonde star added: “I want to stay friends with Ben.
“He’s the father of my children and he’s in my life for ever, so hopefully one day we can be friends.”

Saturdays bandmates for helping her through her rough patch and said even strangers had been
“lovely” to her after her heartbreak.
Her comments come after she was linked to model Kenneth “KP”
Guidroz, who she posed with in a string of social media pictures recently. The pair were spotted together on a beach in California but Una revealed she hadn’t moved on.
The Co Tipperary singer said her close relatives are now her priority. She added: “Kenneth was just someone I spent time with in LA as a friend, we’re not dating. I’m just taking it day by day and focusing on the kids, my friends and family.”
Una has been keeping a low profile in recent months following the breakdown with England star Foden. Allegations of his infidelity with a PR girl came just weeks before the family were due to relocate to the US after he signed a contract with Rugby United New York.
The pop star broke her silence in an interview with Hello!, saying: “My life has been turned upside down and I’m trying to figure it out.
“I’m taking each day as it comes and just being there for my children. “Life is tough but you’ve got to keep a positive attitude. Time is a healer as well.”
Earlier this year, Foden signed up to dating site Bumble and stated in his profile he’s “getting divorced.” He added he’s looking for a woman who isn’t “uptight or bossy”.
