THE multi-millionaire father of a man arrested over the Grenfell Tower effigy outrage was the victim of a grisly murder.

Property tycoon Lorenzo “Len” Bussetti, whose son is suspect Paul Bussetti, was blasted at close range as he rowed with a man over rent.

His body was stuffed in a suitcase and dumped in a park.

Len Bussetti was killed by tenant Kevin Mcknight, who was jailed for life for the 2002 murder. Mr Bussetti owned several properties in South London and left his family €7.4million in his will.

Son Paul, 46, is one of six men questioned by police over an online video of the Grenfell Tower effigy being burned as people laughed and made racist comments.

The cardboard model of the tower block was set alight during a party at the home of Clifford Smith, 49, and his son Bobbi Connell, 19, in South Norwood, South London. Last

night, it was also revealed a teenage footballer was caught up in the incident.

Ex-crystal Palace youth player Trent Bogle, 19, was alleged to be one of the vile pranksters who set light to a model of the tower.

A source said: “Trent saw himself as the next Wayne Rooney. He’s a great footballer and made it to Palace youth.”

The effigy burning has been condemned by Grenfell survivors, public inquiry chairman Sir Martin Moore-bick and Prime Minister Theresa May.

The June 2017 blaze in West London killed 72 people.

Scotland Yard said six men – aged between 19 and 55 – were arrested on suspicion of a public order offence.
