BONNIE Ryan has admitted sometimes it feels like “no time has passed” since her dad Gerry’s death. famous dad would be proud of the family, she said: “Completely. I think we could have ended up doing anything though and our parents could have been extremely proud of us.”

Like her older siblings – broadcaster Lottie and actor Rex – Bonnie is following in her father’s creative footsteps.

The Dublin make-up artist, who has more than 25,000 Instagram followers, said growing up in an artistic household “100%” influenced their career paths.

Bonnie said: “We don’t really know any different to be honest.

“We’ve grown up in a showbiz house so from the minute we were born, we were in dancing and singing lessons and all that kind of thing.

“We’d be putting on plays every night for my poor parents, which I’m sure were sick of it... it’s all we’ve ever really known.

“It’s in our blood and of course it was going to rub off on us. I’d say that’s helped in all the things we’ve wanted to go into.

“I think it’s not surprising that we’ve all gone down that route, rather than being doctors or something like that.”

While her voice bears a striking resemblance to that of her 2fm presenter sister Lottie, Bonnie said she has no plans to go into broadcasting – unless it was to talk about beauty.

She added: “I think beauty is definitely where my focus is at, so if the opportunity came up to do a beauty segment, maybe on TV or radio, I’d definitely consider it.

“But I think the whole chat show thing, I’ll leave that to Lottie.”
