Tonight at Button Factory the crew from Bedlam welcome back Dense & Pika, the UK house and techno duo consisting of Chris Spero (also known as Glimpse) and British DJ, producer and Hypecolour co-founder Alex Jones.

Following the release of their hugely successful Colt EP on Hotflush recordings in 2013, the already well-known duo skyrocketed in terms of notoriety and have since played in Dublin several times over the years, each time rewarding a packed crowd with their energetic brand of jammed-out, clubready bangers.

On support, is Waterford’s own Alt8 (not to be confused with Altern8). Formally known as Marshall, Alt8 formed his new underground Alias in 2017, combining the sounds Melodic Techno, Deep Tech & Techno.

Admission is €18 and doors 11pm.

Down at PYG tomorrow night, Division & Culture Shock Dublin team up for their last collaboration of 2018 as they welcome Romanian maestro Barac.

He makes his Irish debut in the vaults of Pygmalion for what is sure to be another cracker of a night. His elegant, yet delicate style picks you up, takes you on a journey and leaves you somewhere completely different. Support comes from long time Pygmalion resident Aaron Nolan, whilst the terrace opens from 6pm with Patterns resident Josh Green providing the vibes! Admission €10 after 10pm.

The guys at Tengu bring you Objekt tomorrow night and he has built a reputation as one of the must-see DJS of his generation. Though techno is still his centre of gravity, his club sets trace everwider tastes, typically encompassing electro, house, acid, bass music, DNB, dub and unclassifiable club music across a broad tempo spectrum.

These musical meanderings are made possible by a deft, highly technical mixing style, along with a technician’s mindset honed through his years working as an instrument developer at music software company Native Instruments. Production wise In 2016 He recorded ‘Kern Vol. 3’, a mix CD for Berlin techno institution Tresor, which was described by Resident Advisor as “a window into the very essence of Djing”.

Recent years have also seen him deepen his ties with Freerotation in Wales and Dekmantel in Amsterdam, where he performs year upon year, as well as playing an increasing number of all-nightlong sets, often going back-to-back with his close friend Call Super. Admission here is €15 with doors 11pm.

Finally check out James Mc and Eve resident Lauren Kenny down at sister venue Izakaya in the basement tomorrow also.
