First lady is proving she really isn’t better half
FORGET the thousands of Central American migrants making their way to the States – no one puts more fear into Donald Trump than the women in his life.
But while Theresa May and Angela Merkel wish it was them, it is the President’s wife who has been shown to rule the White House roost.
Many had hoped it would be First Lady Melania providing direction to a rudderless ship.
However, given the events the of the past week, she has proven her loyalties lie exclusively with her husband.
BULLYING
Melania’s decision to publicly call for the sacking of a government employee was not only unprecedented but unforgivable.
Her demands deputy national security adviser Mira Ricardel be fired because of a personal slight tells you everything about how the White House is run.
Ricardel’s crime? To dare object to Melania’s rock star-sized entourage and its correspondingly small press contingent on the plane for her disastrously embarrassing trip to Africa.
All this from someone who promised to fight bullying.
Instead, she has opted to stay silent when her husband locks up terrified children in cages, calls white nationalists “fine people” and boasts it’s all right to “grab women by the p***y”.
Welcome to the First Dictators Wives Club. Melania – Eva Peron, Elena Ceausescu and Imelda Marcos have been expecting you.
