Harry will hand his jam roly-polys to homeless
KING of the Jungle Harry Redknapp will give the homeless the jam roly-polys he has been sent since winning I’m A Celebrity.
On the show, 71-year-old Harry said eating a jam rolypoly was one of the things he was looking forward to when he got back to the UK.
And he said yesterday: “Everyone is sending me jam roly-poly puddings. I’m waiting for someone who makes them to ask me to KIND Winner Harry do an advert.” He and his wife Sandra will feed the puddings to the homeless in their home town of Bournemouth, Dorset. He said: “What we will do Thursday night is take them and give them to the homeless. Hopefully, Sandra will be able to cook some as there is a place where they get a dinner on a Thursday night – so we will take it to those guys, I think they will enjoy that.”
The football manager is due to star in his local panto with campmate Rita Simons after the 41-year-old Eastenders actress urged him to accept a walk-on part in Sleepy Beauty, having discussed it with the show’s producer.
Harry, who most recently managed Birmingham City in 2017, said: “I am ready for the walk-on part.
“I don’t know what it’s going to be but it’s Christmas and you have got to give people a laugh.”
Rita said: “I spoke to Harry and he’s going to be coming to the theatre every morning to bring me coffee and he may also be doing a little cameo in the show.”
She added: “My producer is very happy for him to do it if he wants to. Harry wants to do it.”
