WHY DID I KISS GUY AT A PARTY?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for over a year and I love him more than anything in this world. In fact, I can’t imagine my life without him.

However, a few nights ago, I went to a party and ended up kissing another man whom I’ve always found attractive.

My feelings for this guy are nothing in comparison to the way I feel about my boyfriend, so I can’t explain why I did what I did.

What should I do now? Do I tell my boyfriend? Why would I do this to someone I care so much for?

The person I kissed also had a girlfriend. Is it my job to tell her?

I can’t tell you why you kissed him – did you have too much to drink? Were you flattered by the attention? Or is there another, deeper reason you’re not confronting? Is it a sign that something’s missing in your relationship and that’s what drew you to this other guy?

Maybe you’re looking for a bit of excitement or need to feel attractive and desired. Be really honest with yourself. You’re obviously feeling guilty, but if you’re sure it’s not going to happen again and you can cope with the guilt, then focus on your relationship and don’t put yourself in that situation again.

However, if you find yourself thinking about other guys a lot, then I think you need to reassess your relationship.
