ITALIAN JOB IS WAITING FOR YOUNG
WATFORD boss Javi Gracia has been so busy rotating his players he has not had time to think about transfers.
After making six changes at the weekend, he is ready to make more today for the trip to Bournemouth.
He said: “Some changes we have to do, for sure. I’m very happy with all the players I have in the squad.” Gracia is experiencing the festive football programme in this country for the first time and admitted: “I don’t have time to prepare the next game and think about transfers.
“When I speak with the owner I’m sure he will explain the situation. I don’t know if we need many new things.
“We have to keep doing the things we have been doing.” ..17 ........... 28 ......... 5 9 18 1 INTER MILAN would like to snap up Manchester United’s Ashley Young on a free transfer.
Young can negotiate a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside England as he is in the final six months of his deal.
United are still talking with the England star (right), 33, in the hope of a one-year extension when his contract expires in the summer.
Inter have now joined Italian rivals Roma in watching developments. Recently sacked boss Jose Mourinho was a huge Young fan and gave him the captaincy earlier this season.
Young, after making 222 United appearances, ideally wants to stay at Old Trafford on his £130,000-a-week salary.
