‘Air network change will help flyers’

Una’s ex on hopes for the future as he moves to us singer returns for hosting job

Deirdre Clune CALLS have been made to reorganise European airspace to ensure fewer delays for travellers.

Ireland South MEP Deirdre Clune said the move would help passengers get to and from their destinatio­ns on time.

She added: “There needs to be more effective management of the European airspace network.

“For next year at the European Parliament I would hope for movement on the Single European Sky Package, which would create less chaos in European skies.

“In the first eight months of this year, European flights were delayed by a combined 14.1 million minutes, double the rate compared to the same period a year earlier.” BEN Foden has said his ex-wife Una Healy is welcome to visit him in New York if she wants a holiday.

The English rugby star split from The Saturdays singer in July after rumours he had cheated.

But now the 33-year-old has revealed things are “quite good” between them.

Foden is moving across the pond after signing with New York Rugby United and he said his Co Tipperary ex can come see him.

Speaking to Now magazine, Ben added he’ll “always have a future” with Una, who recently confirmed her new romance with Limerick hurler David Breen.

He said: “Our relationsh­ip is actually quite good.

“I stay at the family home whenever I want to see the kids.

“We’re keeping it civil and hopefully we can remain friends. We’ll always have a UNA Healy is set to return to TV screens this week to present The Six O’clock Show.

The 37-year-old will front the daily chat show on Virgin Media One, filling in for usual host Muireann O’connell.

Una will join presenters Una with David Breen future because she’s mother of my children.

“I signed for New York Rugby United so things are going to change.

“It’s just exciting. A different change of pace, something that’s really needed.

“I’m sure Una wouldn’t mind a little holiday in New York.

“She’ll drop the kids with me and then she can go and enjoy the sights.”

The couple were married for six years and had been together for a decade when they split last year.

They have two children together – Aoife Belle, six, and three-year-old Tadhg.

Just before Christmas Una revealed she’s dating GAA star Breen by sharing a picture of them together next to a Christmas tree.

The announceme­nt came after weeks of speculatio­n the pair were an item, with Una captioning the snap: “I have tried to hide him but he’s too tall.” the Martin King and Ray Foley on the hour-long broadcast.

The Tipperary singer said: “I had such a great time presenting the show last April and can’t wait to sink my teeth into more interviews with some great guests.”
