Announcing the news in on Instagram, the TV star told fans: “Hey guys, I’m posting this to give you some news.

“This is the last time you’re going to see me with these [breasts].

“I know they’re a national treasure but I believe for the last 20 years these breast implants have been making me sick and I’m documenting this journey and sharing it with you. Stay tuned for the details, I love you and I’ll see you on the lighter side.”

Michelle captioned the post: “The truth. MY truth. #Breastimplantillness has taken the last 20 years from me, I’m taking my life back.

“Thank you for your never-ending love and support through this. Details to follow .... ”

“Michelle every inch of you is fabulous. But I’m with those who thought your dress was too much... or too little.

“Family show requires a slightly tamer dress code me thinks.”

Speaking ahead of IGT’S return, Michelle vowed not to tame her dress sense for season two.

She told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “Will I be toning it down? No, I don’t tone down anything for anybody. We need to celebrate our bodies.

“I’m the mother of two children, those breasts fed those two children.

“My nipples weren’t hanging out for God’s sake. Women need to celebrate each other.

“Why would you body-shame another woman? It was absolutely ridiculous, telling someone with large breasts they cannot wear a low-cut dress.

“I don’t change for anybody. Come on this is 2019, this is not 1952.”

I’m documenting this journey and sharing it with you. Stay tuned for the details
