Orchestra’s disabled first

LE Cheile is to develop music ensembles for young disabled musicians in every province.

The move will lead to the Open Youth Orchestra of Ireland, the first of its kind in Europe.

Minister Josepha Madigan said: “[This] aims to nurture the creative imagination.”
