Charlie lands Blinder role for Irish film
Charlie Murphy PEAKY Blinders’ Charlie Murphy will star in a new horror set in Ireland.
She will appear along with Game of Thrones actor Michael Mcelhatton in The Winter Lake.
US website Deadline reported Murphy, who was also cast in Love/hate, will play a troubled mother living on a West of Ireland farm when filming begins later this month.
When the water level on a seasonal lake drops, her son Tom will make “a terrifying discovery”.
The movie will be produced by Epic Pictures and Title Media alongside Tailored Films and Annemarie Gelinas of Emafilms.
It will be on offer to prospective buyers at the European Film Market in Berlin next Friday.
