Fan’s banned forhurling pie

A FOOTBALL fan faces a ban from all matches after hurling a pie on the pitch.

Adam Cox, 27, threw the missile during Chelsea’s Carabao Cup tie with AFC Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge in December.

The 6ft 4in Bournemouth fan became “agitated” with police and was arrested, City of London magistrates were told.

Cox, of Christchurch, Dorset, did not appear in court but was convicted.

He now faces a football banning order.
