Elliott hits a hat-trick

GORDON ELLIOTT completed a treble with odds-on favourite Galvin, still unbeaten after five starts, Veinard and Arion Sky in Ayr yesterday.

Davy Russell, inset, rode both Galvin and Arion Sky (in the finale), but stood himself down from riding Veinard (which was ridden by Conor O’farrell), having taken a last flight fall from Pat’s Oscar in the mares handicap hurdle. All of yesterday’s results – see page 40
